The main two types of soft fall surfacing Synthatech offer are wet pour rubber and synthetic grass. To make these products a soft fall product we use a dual layer system. The first layer being the wear layer which is synthetic grass or coloured rubber granule, being either Rosehill TPV, EPDM or a pre coloured recycled rubber combined with a polyurethane binder. The second layer being the cushion layer which is created using recycled rubber combined with a polyurethane binder. We can install the cushion layer at any required depth to give a specific soft fall rating. All of our soft fall surfaces have been NATA certified ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory tested and certified and comply to Australian Standard AS 4422:2016 Playground surfacing—Specifications, requirements and test methods.
